‘Coracle Drift / Cwrwgl Drifft’ by Alison Neighbour

willow, flax, pine resin, elm bark, lime bast, string, oak gall ink, 2026
The coracle is an invitation for one person at a time to be held within a vessel made of materials of the earth, to drift and to dream on the edge of time and place. On Saturday the coracle appeared on the shoreline, brought by the ocean currents. On Sunday it moved inland to the woods, returning to the earth.
