Môn Mam Cymru personifies nature through the Mother figure, drawing on Anglesey’s medieval role as the ‘breadbasket of Wales’, Marian devotion, legends of the Virgin Mary at Llanerch-ymedd, and the woodland church of Llangoed. It interweaves these histories with themes of creation, fertility, nurture and stewardship, highlighting the interconnectedness of all life.
