Sunrise Journey to the Edges

Sunday 29 March
06:15 - 8:00
meet at Aberlleiniog Castle Carpark (Llangoed Village Car Park / Pont y Rhyd)

Join Alison Neighbour for a walk to the edge of time and place, journeying in human-silence through the woodlands to arrive at the sea as the sun comes over the mountains. We will listen to the sounds of the dawn awakening in the woods and on the foreshore, making gentle tactile connections with the environment as we pass through. On arrival at the beach, we will have a quiet moment with the landscape before gathering for a panad.

The walk is approx 1 mile long and takes about 30 minutes -there is some uneven ground, and it can be wet and cold, so please dress to be comfortable and wear sturdy footwear. We'll leave from the bus-stop next to the Aberlleiniog Castle Carpark at 6.15am. Please allow enough time to arrive and park prior to this - there is additional parking available at the village hall.

Please book a place (including for any children) as numbers are limited to protect the calm of the woodland in the early morning. It would be appreciated if dogs can be left at home.
