Space Law - A voyage of inner and outer space as a shared ‘common heritage of humankind.’
Discussing the notion of the commons and how they exist legally beyond Earthly realms to protect space’s subjection to individual property, Lucy will uncover the international frameworks of space law and the impact of their erosion from nationalist and private property interests, with the import of upholding space treaties in the future. Reference also to satellite congestion and space junk and its threat to the fragile legal and environmental balance beyond Earth.
