'Starting the work is two thirds of it' Liz von Graevenitz

Return to Unus Multorum 2020

Liz tells the tale of her work on the facade of Plas Bodfa. The designs for this large mural was inspired by William Jones of Holt, a Welsh weaver who recorded over 100 designs in the mid 1700s. His designs were used to make tapestry quilts for the woollen industry.

Our planned exhibition 'Unus Multorum' was meant to have opened on the 4th of April, 2020 with projects and installations from 111 creative people. Transformed by the global pandemic, it has evolved into a time-less project, gently unfolding over the course of the year inside the house and in the digital realm. These first videos are an attempt to share what has happened at Plas Bodfa during the first part of the year. This work and all the projects of Unus Multorum will be creatively documented and shared over the course of 2020 here : https://www.plasbodfa.com/unus-multorum-2020
