'Never Doubt Sanctuary' Wanda Garner

Return to Unus Multorum 2020

A spiritual, yet secular sanctuary to host performances, conversations and artworks, a special space that will foster positive feelings, a belief in our ability to achieve self-actualisation and a celebration of our connection with each other.

With lockdown, this work exists only in spirit, through the hopes and intentions, dreams and connections of Wanda herself. Her film illustrates her aspirations.

The physical sanctuary consist of a mixture of artefacts and two-dimensional works including pencil drawings, embossed prints, dry point prints, acrylic painting on tarpaulin

Two editions of Wanda’s prints ‘Symbols’ and ‘Cause for Concern’ are available to own and love!

The Never Doubt Sanctuary is a spiritual, yet secular sanctuary to host performances, conversations and artworks, a special space that will foster positive feelings, a belief in our ability to achieve self-actualisation and a celebration of our connection with each other. Lockdown has seen Sanctuary reimagined on film, this is the result! This work is a part of 'Unus Multorum' an exhibition that was meant to have opened in April, 2020 with projects and installations from 111 creative people. Transformed by the global pandemic, it has evolved into a time-less project, gently unfolding over the course of the year inside the house and in the digital realm.
