Exploring the tenuous relationship between form and function, these banners were inspired by the patchwork patterns created by the unique method of shoe repair used by Chinese women in rural communities. These women used what they had, small pieces of cloth and rice glue, to repair and remake their cloth shoes.

Our planned exhibition 'Unus Multorum' was meant to have opened in April, 2020 with projects and installations from 111 creative people. Transformed by the global pandemic, it has evolved into a time-less project, gently unfolding over the course of the year inside the house and in the digital realm. These first videos are an attempt to share what has happened at Plas Bodfa during the first part of the year. This work and all the projects of Unus Multorum will be creatively documented and shared over the course of 2020 here : https://www.plasbodfa.com/unus-multorum-2020
