"Ymgodir" is a Welsh word translating to 'Uplifted’. The installation was originally designed to feature inside the dysfunctional lift inside Plas Bodfa, a play on words linked with wellbeing with connections to 'happiness'. Lockdown separated the sisters and their collaboration, but created something new - a film!

The installation was originally designed to feature inside the dysfunctional lift inside Plas Bodfa, a play on words linked with wellbeing with connections to 'happiness'. Lockdown separated the sisters and their collaboration, but created something new - a film!
This work is a part of 'Unus Multorum' an exhibition that was meant to have opened in April, 2020 with projects and installations from 111 creative people. Transformed by the global pandemic, it has evolved into a time-less project, gently unfolding over the course of the year inside the house and in the digital realm.
