A vacuum-packed petrol generator, presented silently as an installation, evokes the idea of energy in a vacuum and our connection to unseen atomic and electromagnetic forces. Once used to power large (now illegal) raves, these generators recall spaces that were voids themselves, teeming with life, sound and energy.
